Milo Ventimiglia shared all the scenes and moments from This Is Us season 1 that made him cry. I mean, same.

Not so long ago, NBC Entertainment executive Jennifer Salke, This Is Us executive producer Ken Olin and actor / fictional father extraordinaire Milo Ventimiglia participated in a panel hosted by Entertainment Weekly as part of the ATX television festival. During the panel, they spoke of many things, ranging from Ventimiglia’s initial inclination to play Kevin to whether or not they intended to make us cry so much.

Speaking of tears, moderator and EW editor Henry Goldblatt asked Milo what scene made him personally cry the most. He, of course, answered with an exceptionally on point characterization of Jack before running through some of most cry-worthy moments of the show featuring other characters. You can probably relate.

Here’s his full answer on the panel, transcribed:

"I mean look, there are a million moments. I don’t find myself crying for Jack. And I don’t know if you guys have noticed, but Jack’s a pretty stoic character. Tears don’t really fall for Jack. That’s not Jack, he may lead with his heart but he’s got to be the patriarch of this family. So where you get that beautiful single tear out of Sterling’s Randall or Mandy’s crying, or Chrissy, or any of them, Jack doesn’t cry.So for me, it’s a lot of stuff like…it absolutely crushed me for a few days with William’s passing. Ron. My god, what a deep beautiful, soulful actor that man is. When Chrissy is at the weight camp and she’s going through the drum circle and she has that moment of breaking with things that have happened in her life. Things like that make me cry. Or Randall’s stuff. Kevin’s stuff, too. Kevin! God, I feel like we’ve barely scratched the surface with Kevin."

Cool. So Milo Ventimiglia loves his co-stars just about as much as Jack loves his children and suddenly it’s very, very dusty in here.
