Sylvester Stallone joins This Is Us in season 2, episode 3 (VIDEO)

This Is Us welcomes its most high-profile guest star to date as Sylvester Stallone drops by the Emmy-winning series in Season 2, Episode 3.

In case you happened to miss the biggest This Is Us casting news ever this summer, the Emmy-winning hit drama scored a major guest spot from action legend Sylvester Stallone. That’s right, Rocky himself will aid the Pearsons in making us cry when he makes his highly anticipated debut in Tuesday’s upcoming episode, titled “Highs and Lows.”

Season 2, Episode 3 of This Is Us finds Kate visiting the set of Kevin’s new Ron Howard movie, which also happens to star none other than three-time Academy Award nominee Sylvester Stallone. Adding one more layer of realism, Stallone plays himself on the series, but don’t think that that counts him out from getting into the nitty gritty. Since Jack himself fought in Vietnam (though if the Big Three know the extent of his role in the role remains to be seen), Kevin will surely bond with Sly over his veteran father. Not to mention, Jack was a total Rocky fan. The first clip from Stallone’s episode has finally arrived, and it’ll make you tear up.
