Mandy Moore is happily engaged and the This Is Us star is speaking out to her fans about how she met her fiance and more. People shared the details about what Mandy had to say about her new fiance and how she is in a really great spot in her life right now.

Mandy spoke out to People saying, “I’m more grateful than I ever have been in my life. It’s a very happy time.” She admits that she went through a few years that were really rough. Back in 2015, Mandy Moore got a divorce from Ryan Adams and her career wasn’t going great. The couple was married for six years before calling it quits. Now she has a new fiance and is on the hit show This Is Us.

So how did Mandy Moore meet her new fiance Taylor Goldsmith, frontman for the band Dawes? It is kind of a crazy story that she explained.

"“I took a picture of their album and posted it on Instagram. Somehow, Taylor saw it and sent a note to me. We started emailing back and forth, then we went on a date and the rest is history. Thanks Instagram, for helping me meet my fiancé!”"

Mandy explained that they spent hours FaceTiming and fell in love before they had ever even held hands or kissed each other. It sounds like a match made in Heaven.
