Milo Ventimiglia is perfect even with his one imperfection that viewers notice often when he talks.

If you watch This Is Us, then you have probably noticed that Milo Ventimiglia has a small imperfection with his mouth. Personally, I think this makes Milo who he is and makes me love him even more. People explained what is going on with his mouth and how Milo feels about it as well.

He admits that trying to break into acting he was told that his mouth was too crooked. Milo’s mouth was something he worked on, but the truth is he was actually born with “dead nerves” in his lip and that is the reason that it looks that way.

Milo actually explained how people expect him to fix it, but he just can’t.

"“They’d be like: ‘Could you stop doing that thing with your mouth where your lip is going down?’ And I’d be like: ‘Hey, I was born that way.’ … I mean, look, I can’t get away from it now. It’s who I am, you know? I’ve got a crooked mouth.”"

It turns out that when Milo was younger it was something you noticed a lot more than you do now. He wanted to change it, so Milo actually spent hours of his life looking in the mirror and reading out loud from a book. This way he could watch himself and fix it as best as possible. Milo still has that cute little curve to his mouth, though. Pay attention the next time you see him running and yelling in a scene because he shared that he can’t control it when that is going on.

Don’t miss the new episodes of This Is Us when they air on Tuesday nights on NBC.
