Throwback time: Check out Mandy Moore’s music video ‘Candy’

Fans of Mandy Moore may remember her from movies and television shows, but the true fans will never forget her song Candy.

Back in April of 2013, Mandy Moore’s music video for Candy hit YouTube and almost has 7 million views now. The song actually came out in 1999. If you are a true Mandy fan, then you remember this little gem that was from before she was a big actress playing Rebecca Pearson on This Is Us every week.

This was Mandy Moore’s first hit song and she was just 15-years-old at the time. A lot has changed since then, but the fans still can’t get enough of this video. Now, Mandy is seen singing every once in a while as Rebecca Pearson but is actually showing off her acting skills more than singing lately.

This music video shows a much younger Mandy Moore singing in her bedroom as she then heads out to with her friends singing all about the guy that she is missing “like candy.”

With lyrics like these below, everyone can’t get enough of this song even over 15 years later.

Don’t miss Mandy Moore on the new episodes of This Is Us when they air on Tuesday nights on NBC. Maybe someday we will get to see a younger version of Rebecca Pearson singing away.
