Sterling K. Brown lands guest star role on ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’

You are about to get another chance to see Sterling K. Brown on an evening show. It turns out that he is going to be a guest-star on Brooklyn Nine-Nine in the upcoming fifth season.

Sterling K. Brown will actually be in an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which airs on Fox, according to EW. He will play a murder suspect on the show, which is a role totally different than the one he plays of Randal Pearson on This Is Us. Holt and Jake will get the chance to interrogate him and it sounds like the entire episode will be based on this storyline. Sterling has made it clear that he is a fan of Andre Braugher, who plays Holt.

The fifth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will start airing in the spring and that is when this episode with Sterling K. Brown will air. It has to be fun for Sterling to take on a different role like this one. Sterling isn’t the only big guest star for the upcoming season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, though. It turns out that the season 5 guests include Tim Meadows, Lou Diamond Phillips, Jimmy Smits, Bradley Whitford, and Danny Trejo. Sterling also has several movies coming up so you never know where he will show up next.

You will not want to miss Sterling K. Brown when he is on Brooklyn Nine-Nine in the spring when it returns. You can also catch him Tuesday nights on This Is Us on NBC when the rest of Season 2 starts airing on January 9, 2018.
