‘This Is Us’ news: Chrissy Metz reveals ‘hardest’ part of show for her so far

Chrissy Metz recently talked to Elite Daily while at the 75th Annual Golden Globes red carpet and she talked about what moment on the show was the hardest for her. There have been so many tearjerkers on This Is Us already. 

The viewers along with myself love breaking out the kleenex almost every single week when This Is Us airs a new episode. Chrissy talked about which episode was the hardest for her to film. Here is what she revealed.

"“Oh goodness, I think one of the hardest was when Kate and Toby broke up in the first season, because it was really about her drawing her boundaries and it wasn’t because she didn’t love him. It was that she needed to love herself more. And that’s really such a beautiful message that the writers bring to the audience in a very subtle way… I’ve had so many people come out and say, ‘My gosh you helped me stand up for myself.’ And it wasn’t because she [Kate] had to, but because she needed to for herself so that was probably the hardest one.”"

When Kate and Toby first started dating, they went through a few problems and did split at one time. It was hard for me to watch so I can only imagine how hard it was for Chrissy Metz to film. They didn’t split because they weren’t in love, but it was because Chrissy was working on herself and thought it was what was best for her.

Lucky for all of us, Toby and Kate are still together and seem to be doing great. They are even planning a wedding that should happen this season. After going through a miscarriage, almost going to the courthouse to get married and eveything else this couple seems to be doing great together.
