Kim Kardashian West took to Twitter to ask about the quality of This Is Us, and Justin Hartley had a response you can’t miss!

Imagine a world in which you have merely heard rumblings about This Is Us. You know it exists, for one, that it followed this year’s airing of the Super Bowl and that the entire world increasingly can’t stop talking (and/or crying) about it. But you somehow aren’t aware that it has been heavily awarded and highly rated since it premiered. Kim Kardashian West seemingly lives in this world, and Justin Hartley stepped up to introduce the star to the Pearson family.

On Thursday morning, Kim Kardashian West made a special announcement on Twitter and surveyed her 58.8 million followers on one very important subject: This Is Us. Now, there are plenty of other things she could be tweeting about: Her newborn daughter, Chicago; her sister Kylie’s newborn daughter, Stormi; her successful range of beauty products; or even the current events of the day. However, when Kardashian West touched on her latest binge-watch, Justin Hartley earned his Big Three Homes hat.

“I’m starting to watch This Is Us. Who watches is? Is it good?” Kardashian West tweeted. Sure, you could be envious of her wealth and success, but to have access to millions of people? That’s the kind of social reach you need when you’re thinking about starting a new show.

While the responses to Kim K’s tweet were overwhelmingly positive and warned her to grab the tissues (don’t want to ruin that KKW Beauty look!), there was one particular testimony that outweighed the rest. This Is Us star Justin Hartley threw his two cents in the mix, and it’s the best comment you’ll read on Twitter this week.

“I watch it. I think it’s worth a look. If it were me, I would watch it from the beginning. A good time to start if you ask me. Not too along in the series yet enough episodes to binge if you feel. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry…” Hartley wrote to the megastar, ending any further persuasion.

Of course, Hartley’s a bit biased, but that’s the point here. Proving why we adore him on and off screen, the man otherwise known as Kevin Pearson lays down the facts with an untouchable sense of humor. If someone was going to present the winning argument for Kim Kardashian to watch This Is Us, it had to be Justin Hartley.

Next: We need to talk about that Kardashian-Jenner joke in the This Is Us season 2 premiere

You might have forgotten, but This Is Us foretold the Kardashian-Jenner baby boom way back in its Season 2 premiere. Ironically, Hartley’s Kevin offhandedly jokes that the famous family multiples like Gremlins and there would be “a million more of them.” In the same week as the episode, sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner announced their pregnancies, while Kim would later confirm she and husband Kanye West were expecting their third child via surrogate.

What will Kim Kardashian West think of the show’s reference to her ever expanding family? With any luck, she will keep her fans updated on her This Is Us binge, but knowing the self-aware star, she’ll respect the lighthearted jab. Most importantly, thanks to Justin Hartley, the biggest show on television just scored the biggest star in Hollywood as a fan.

This Is Us airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC.
