This Is Us returned with a heartfelt episode of sibling bonding in Las Vegas, but we’re still pondering these three burning questions.

You have to hand it to This Is Us. Even when it’s putting one major storyline to bed (see: Jack’s death), it opens up a million more without viewers realizing. In the latest episode, Kate and Toby rang in their impending nuptials with a celebration in Las Vegas, but don’t think it was all fun and games. The episode brought the emotion and left us needing answers.

Sure, we’re still wondering what’s going to happen with Kate and Toby’s wedding and Jack’s past in Vietnam (including his infrequently mentioned brother!), but the latest episode introduced a few new topics worth discussing. From Deja to Kevin’s Oscar chances to Kate and Beth’s newfound sisterhood, these are the three burning questions we have after watching This Is Us Season 2, Episode 16!

1. Will Deja move back in with the Pearsons?

We knew that Deja would be returning to the Pearson home, but we didn’t know the circumstances that brought her back. Deja asks Beth and Randall for help paying a bill that could cost her mother custody. Later on, Beth and Randall discover Deja and her mother sleeping in their car. Will the Pearsons open their open to Deja once more?

2. Is Kevin headed to the Oscars?

It could be a long shot, but Kevin Pearson just might make his way to the Oscars with his Ron Howard-directed war movie. After losing his cool over potentially getting cut from the film, Kevin calls Howard, who tells him he’s still in the movie and to “buy a tux.” Are we talking premiere red carpet or Oscars red carpet? Either way, Kevin’s moving on up!

3. Can we get more Beth and Kate scenes?

Look, we haven’t gotten many scenes of the Pearson women supporting each other. Kate and Rebecca’s relationship has tension, and now apparently Kate and Beth’s does, too. But all tension has recently been squashed. Can This Is Us please, please explore Beth and Kate’s relationship more? The show needs more female friendship!
