What can we expect from This Is Us in Season 2, Episode 17? Here are first look photos from Deja’s special return to the Pearsons family.
You know what they say: A picture is worth a thousand words. While that maybe true, the person who coined that phrase never heard a Jack Pearson monologue fit to bring you to tears one week later. But I digress. Fresh off the Big Three’s trip to Las Vegas that brought the tears and the fears to the surface, This Is Us gears up for another episode that will hit you right in the heartstrings.
Ahead of Season 2, Episode 17, NBC has released a handful of first-look photos, and they are certainly worth a thousand words. For the episode emotionally titled “This Big, Amazing, Beautiful Life,” not nearly as many photos were provided than for the grand celebration outing, but they sure pack a punch nonetheless. So, what can we expect from the latest episode of This Is Us?
Although we had anticipated Season 2, Episode 17 of This Is Us to be devoted solely to Deja, just like multiple episodes have been stripped from the main narrative and centered on supporting characters in the past, it appears we’ll be getting some visits from very important Pearsons. On top of Randall and his family, Jack and Rebecca — expecting the Big Three — will appear in “This Big, Amazing, Beautiful Life.” How does their story tie into Deja’s?
Check out the photos in the gallery below!
The photos from the newest episode mark the return of That ’70s Show’s Debra Jo Rupp as Beth and Randall’s social worker, who originally placed Deja with their family, as well as Deja’s reunion with Tess and Annie. We can only imagine that Jack and Rebecca’s placement in the penultimate episode of Season 2 makes a heartwarming and tearjerking statement about family, which begs this question. Who will speak the words of the title: Jack, Rebecca, or Randall?
