In honor of Mandy Moore’s 34th birthday, we’re counting down 34 awesome achievements the This Is Us star has made so far!

Happy birthday, Mandy Moore!

To celebrate our This Is Us leading lady’s birthday, we have compiled a list of 34 amazing things the singer-songwriter-actress has accomplished in 34 years. From touring with the biggest ’90s boy bands to starring on the big screen to winning awards for one of TV’s highest-rated shows, she’s done it all and been there and back again. Here’s to Mandy Moore!

1. She toured with NSYNC and Backstreet Boys at the height of the boy bands’ popularity in 1999.

2. She released her hit debut single “Candy” from her platinum-selling first studio album So Real that same year at age 15.

3. “I Wanna Be with You” became her highest-charting single when it peaked at No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at No. 11 on the Pop Songs chart.

4. Moore’s second album, I Wanna Be with You, achieved a gold certification and charted higher than her previous debut effort.

5. She made her film debut in 2001’s The Princess Diaries, starring alongside Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews in the the hit Disney film.

6. She released her self-titled third album in 2001, which featured a move away from bubblegum pop with the Middle Eastern-tinged single “In My Pocket.”

7. The music video for her pop-rock song “Crush” was her first to reach the No. 1 spot on MTV’s TRL countdown.

8. She landed her first starring role in 2002’s A Walk To Remember, a film that remains beloved by fans far and wide.

9. She released the sweeping ballad “Cry” in conjunction with A Walk To Remember, as well as contributed multiple songs for the soundtrack, such as “Only Hope.”

10. In 2003, she headlined the romantic comedy How To Deal, an adaptation of the Sarah Dessen novel co-starring Allison Janney.

11. She returned to music in 2003 with a cover of John Hiatt’s “Have a Little Faith in Me.”

12. Coverage, her fourth album comprised entirely of covers of 1970s and 1980s songs, became her highest-charting album when it debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard 200.

13. She starred in the 2004 romantic comedy Chasing Liberty with Matthew Goode, and her performance garnered positive reviews.

14. She transitioned into more mature fare with 2004’s Saved!, which remains Moore’s strongest film role to date as well as her most underrated.

15. In 2005, she lent her voice to the film Racing Stripes and launched her fashion line Mblem.

16. She also guest starred as herself in the popular HBO series Entourage.

17. Moore continued a string of guest roles in 2006 with a two-episode turn in NBC’s sitcom Scrubs and Fox’s animated sitcom The Simpsons.

18. She co-starred in the satirical comedy film American Dreamz in 2006.

19. She joked that she would refund everyone who purchased her first two albums because she didn’t feel they reflected her as an artist. She repaid a radio host.

20. In 2007, she returned to music with fifth studio album Wild Hope, which found Moore turning to a folk-pop sound and co-writing every song on the album.

21. Wild Hope went on to earn positive reviews and land her third highest debut on the Billboard 200 album chart.

22. She guest starred in the third season premiere of the hit CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

23. She co-starred in the romantic comedy Because I Said So with Diane Keaton, and the film debuted at No. 2 in its first weekend at the box office.

24. The same year, Moore co-starred with John Krasinski and Robin Williams in License to Wed.

25. She co-starred in the romantic comedy Dedication, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

28. Moore guest starred in the sixth season finale of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy in 2010.

29. She provided the voice of Rapunzel in Disney’s successful 2010 film Tangled.

30. Along with co-star Zachary Levi, she performed the film’s Grammy-winning song “I See the Light” at the Oscars in 2011.

31. She reprised her voice role as Rapunzel in Disney Channel’s Tangled: The Series.

34. Along with her This Is Us cast, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama in 2018.
