Sterling K. Brown goes full action star in the official trailer for Hotel Artemis

This Is Us star and Emmy winner Sterling K. Brown switches gears from a primetime tearjerker to summer blockbuster in the action film Hotel Artemis. Check out the trailer!
Get ready to see Sterling K. Brown in an entirely new light. The Emmy Award winner has left his This Is Us character Randall Pearson behind before, but in his new film out this summer, he’s truly pushing the pause button on the character we know and love. Brown stars in the science fiction action flick Hotel Artemis, and it’s the popcorn movie you have been waiting for.
In the newly released official trailer for Hotel Artemis, Sterling K. Brown takes the lead alongside two-time Academy Award winner Jodie Foster in the film set in Los Angeles in the year 2028. Foster plays Jean Thomas, a nurse who runs a down-low emergency room for criminals, which Brown’s character Waikiki pays a visit to. But is he a patient or the police?

While there’s little information known about the characters of Hotel Artemis as of this writing (especially Sterling K. Brown’s character), the film appears to employ all of the twists and turns and chills and thrills audiences crave from the best summer action romps. Some have even pegged the directorial debut from Iron Man 3 co-writer Drew Pearce as a John Wick homage, and it’s clear to see why from its style and story.
Hotel Artemis also stars enviable talent and big-name actors such as Sofia Boutella, Dave Bautista, Jeff Goldblum, Brian Tyree Henry (who also guest starred in This Is Us and is a close friend of Brown’s), Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, Jenny Slate, and Kenneth Choi (who also co-starred in The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story with Brown). Like Mandy Moore’s upcoming summer movie, look out for the impending This Is Us box office invasion!
