Lady Gaga gives out high fives for This Is Us cast after SAG win

At last night’s SAG awards, Lady Gaga was just as excited for the cast of This Is Us as they were for their award.

While the cast of This Is Us had one of the best reactions of the night after their SAG win for Outstanding Peformance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, Lady Gaga was right there with them to offer her excited congratulations. Earlier in the night the actress/singer had posed with the young cast members Lonnie Chavis, Mackenzie Hancsicsak, and Parker Bates (Young Randall, Young Kate, and Young Kevin, respectively) for photos. When it came time for the ensemble to claim their award, Lady Gaga was there to given them all high fives as they approached the stage. Considering how excited everyone is, I think its safe to say they’re all fans of each other.

It isn’t the first time Lady Gaga and the cast of This Is Us have shown their support for each other. After Lady Gaga’s 2017 Super Bowl Halftime performance, Chrissy Metz stood up for her against online body shamers who were criticizing Gaga’s belly. “How is someone fat if they’re not fat,” raved Metz. “I wanna see somebody else get on that damn stage and do what the hell she did.” After support like that, how could Lady Gaga not return the favor?

Now that Lady Gaga is getting into dramatic acting, perhaps she’d like to guest star on This Is Us. She could do a cameo as herself like Seth Meyers or Sylvester Stallone did, maybe as a celebrity friend or colleague of Justin Hartley’s Kevin Pearson. I think she’d fit right into the family drama dynamic as a unique character of her own, like a distant cousin or Jack’s secret daughter or Future Tess’s girlfriend. The possibilities are endless. Since she seems to have such a good report with the kids, maybe she could be something in their timeline. Everyone would love it.
