Sterling K. Brown and Ryan Michelle Bathe are the ultimate power couple

This Is Us’ Sterling K. Brown and wife Ryan Michelle Bathe stepped out together on SAG’s silver carpet last night and looked fierce. What is their secret?

As the couple stepped onto the silver carpet at Sunday night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony, it was no secret how completely and effortlessly badass This Is Us’ Sterling K. Brown and  wife Ryan Michelle Bathe are together. The pair were instant media darlings and the highlight of the pre-ceremony event. And it’s no secret why. Not only were they both beautifully and stylishly dressed, but it was clear how perfectly paired this Hollywood power couple really is. Brown and Bathe have been relationship goals forever and have the kind of marriage that would put even Randall and Beth to shame.

The two have been married since 2007 and met as students at Stanford in 1998, so they definitely have solid roots. “Sterling told me he wanted a relationship that others could ‘see God in’ and that ‘inspired people to love each other and want to be married,’” said Bathe. I would definitely have more faith in love and marriage if more of them looked like theirs do. Not only did they support each other through difficult career hurdles, but they are the loving parents  of two sons (Andrew, 7, and Amaré, 3). They really are the real life Randall and Beth.

Brown admits the two have what it takes to make it. “We know what it takes to make a relationship work, but when you find somebody who’s worth it, it doesn’t feel like a chore.” They know how to argue and they know how to appreciate each other for who they are. And they make each other look good. When they stepped out on the SAG carpet, all eyes were on them. With Brown in a Zegna tuxedo and Bathe in a Sebastian Gunawan gown, they were definitely among the best dressed celebrities at the event. Really though, they could have worn anything and they would still have looked amazing together.
