Sterling K. Brown busts a move & more on The Kelly Clarkson Show

This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown recently made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Check out the highlights, which includes a dance number or two!

Friday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show featured guests Sterling K. Brown and Karen Gillan (Jumanji: The Next Level). The trio was involved in a number of hilarious scenes, one of which involved some must-see dance moves. In the clip below, Brown and Clarkson admire Gillan’s award teen dance moves while Brown snorts away. When Brown was asked what his go-to dances moves were, he had no choice but to show the live studio audience a look at his “Cabbage Patch” maneuvers. Take a look:

Much like myself, Clarkson had no idea that Karen Gillan had a Scottish accent. As a result, Brown and Clarkson did their best to try and guess what certain Scottish phrases mean. More hilarity ensues in the following clip where Sterling K. Brown retrieves Kelly’s fallen ear ring:

Not only can Sterling K. Brown act (incredibly, at that), but he can also sing! Brown revealed he enjoys performing Jon Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive” or Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” when singing karaoke. As for Kelly, she prefers rap songs when doing karaoke rather than performing a ballad. More laughs are shared in this exclusive clip:

Brown revealed that he’s going to be voicing a character in a new animated children’s Netflix series, which drops the same day This Is Us returns on Jan. 14. The actor went on to open up about his uncle who passed away from cancer in 2004, which is why he promotes Survivorship Today, a website that helps those who are living with cancer.

It’s no surprise that Sterling K. Brown continues to be in the headlines after appearing in Frozen 2 last month and recently being nominated for a number of awards from the Critics’ Choice Awards and SAG Awards.
