Now that this season’s This Is Us trilogy is in the books, we’re moving forward with the three major storylines coming together in one location – the cabin. We’ve learned over the years how important this cabin is to the Pearson family with countless memories that they all carry with them after the passing of Jack.
Buried secrets?
The cabin will now be the host for The Big Three to reconnect with each other after going through an awful week. Randall’s anxiety is ruling his life, Kevin is unsure about his love life, and Kate fears her marriage is unraveling right in front of her. The siblings have been so busy with their respective lives that not everyone knows what is going on. In fact, secrets are being kept all around with Randall hiding Rebecca’s health from Kevin, and Kevin secretly sleeping with Kate’s friend, Madison.
Expect the three to open up in “The Cabin,” but it looks like their secrets won’t be the only thing being dug up. The official promo reveals the siblings on the hunt for a time capsule right outside the cabin. Will this box reveal something major? Or will it allow for more reflection that will assist them in moving forward in the present day?
Marc and Kate
Going back to the past, Episode 14 will reveal more from the tumultuous relationship between Kate and Marc. Episode 13 showed us just the beginning of how controlling Marc could be, but we were left on a cliffhanger as Rebecca, Randall, and Kevin went out to rescue Kate.
The promo reveals Kate and Marc won’t be on good terms again as Kate is locked outside of the cabin while Marc sips a beer. How exactly will this saga end? Will Randall or Kevin put Marc in his place?
