Chloe Grace Moretz, Anthony Ramos, and Manny Jacinto to lead rom-com Love Language
There's an upcoming romantic comedy called Love Language, and it should be on everyone's radar. While not much is known about the film at the moment, we shared everything we know so far and that includes who's in the cast.
Joey Power (Banana Split, After Everything) will write the screenplay as well as direct the movie. Unfortunately, plot details are being kept hush-hush as of right now, but we do know for certain that it's a rom-com. Cameras will reportedly start rolling in mid-October in Chicago, Illinois. However, it's unknown when filming will wrap up. Once we have more production details, we'll let you know right away.
The independent production company, Caviar, is behind this film. Ari Lubet produces via 3 Arts Entertainment, Colin Jost and Jeff Grosvenor for No Notes Productions, and Bert Hamelinck and Allison Hironaka for Caviar. In addition, Michael Sagol and Tyson Bidner are executive producing.
Brace yourself, as you're going to be happy to learn who's starring in the film. Many of the actors we're about to list are probably already familiar to you. I definitely wasn't expecting to see these actors in a movie together, but I'm excited nonetheless.
Chloe Grace Moretz, Anthony Ramos, and Manny Jacinto are set to lead the cast of Love Language. Moretz is best known for starring in the superhero movie Kick-Ass and its sequel. She also played the role of a vampire in the romantic horror film Let Me In.
Some of her other roles were in the movies Carrie, If I Stay, The Equalizer, The Miseducation of Cameron Post and Mother/Android. You might've also watched her in the sci-fi series The Peripheral. We'll see Moretz next in an upcoming Christmas comedy film titled Oh. What. Fun.
Ramos is known for starring in films such as A Star Is Born, In the Heights, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Dumb Money and Twisters. Besides Love Language, he'll be seen next in the Disney+ miniseries Ironheart. You'll also hear his voice in the upcoming animated film The Bad Guys 2. He voices the character, Mr. Piranha.
You might recognize Jacinto from his previous role as Jason Mendoza on the comedy sitcom The Good Place. Some of his other acting work includes roles in the TV shows Brand New Cherry Flavor, Nine Perfect Strangers and The Acolyte. He also has another project he's working on besides Love Language. It's the upcoming fantasy comedy film Freakier Friday.
Lukas Gage (Smile 2, The White Lotus, Euphoria), Isabel May (1923, 1883), and Billie Lourd (Ticket to Paradise, Scream Queens) also star in this rom-com.
