One of the last romantic dramas to be released in theaters this year is the upcoming A24 historical romance movie Queer, and we're really looking forward to seeing it! Luckily, we have something to hold us over until its release, which is the steamy official trailer.

Since we're only a month away from the movie's limited theatrical release, A24 decided to drop its trailer to get people pumped up. Get ready to feel the heat! Queer serves as a film adaptation of William S. Burroughs' 1985 short novel of the same name. Oscar nominee Luca Guadagnino, who is best known for directing and producing the romance films Call Me by Your Name, Bones and All and Challengers, helmed this movie with Justin Kuritzkes writing the script. They previously worked together on Challengers, with Kuritzkes writing the screenplay for that film.

Queer had its premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival back in September, and very soon, people in the U.S. will be able to see it on the big screen. It is set to be released in limited theaters in the United States on Nov. 27, 2024.

Taking place in 1950s Mexico City, the story centers around American expat William Lee, who lives a reclusive life among a small American community. However, the arrival of a young student named Eugene Allerton in the city prompts William to seek out a meaningful connection for the first time. Allerton is a discharged American Navy serviceman and drug user with whom Lee becomes infatuated and determined to win the affections of.

Daniel Craig (Glass Onion, No Time to Die) stars in one of the leading roles of William Lee, while Drew Starkey (Outer Banks) plays the role of Eugene Allerton. Lesley Manville, Jason Schwartzman, Andra Ursuta, Michael Borremans, and David Lowery are also in the main cast.
