Does Jack die in Hot Frosty?
No, Jack doesn't die in Hot Frosty, but it was a close call! Throughout the film, Sheriff Hunter spends his time trying to track down the streaker who smashed the windows of a shop in town and stole clothes. We find out at the beginning of the film that the streaker was Jack. After transforming from a snowman to a human, he didn't have any clothes on, and an older couple passing by noticed him. While trying to run away, he accidentally bursts through a clothing shop window and steals a pair of overalls and boots.
Kathy warns Jack that he must lay low since Sheriff Hunter is after him, but Sheriff Hunter eventually finds evidence to pin him for the crimes. He discovers an ATM machine outside that took pictures of Jack the night he went streaking. Meanwhile, Kathy, Jack, and the rest of the town spend Christmas Eve together at Kathy's diner. Sheriff Hunter walks in with his evidence and arrests Jack.
After bringing Jack to the police station and throwing him in a jail cell, Jack begins to sweat profusely due to the heater being on. With him being a snowman, he's going to melt away eventually. Kathy and the rest of the townspeople gather the bail money to release him, and it takes some convincing to get Sheriff Hunter to listen. As an unconscious and very pale Jack is brought out of the police station and placed on the ground, everyone stands around, hoping that he'll wake up.
Just as it looks like all hope is lost, Jack suddenly wakes up by magic. He's no longer a snowman but a real human.

After Jack awakens to find out that he's human, he and Kathy share a passionate kiss. They spend Christmas together and exchange gifts. Jack gifts Kathy a home repair book, while Kathy shares with Jack the tickets she bought for them to go to Hawaii together.
