Apple TV+ has a rom-com series heading our way in time for Valentine’s Day. It’s all about Love You to Death.
The series is a Spanish-language show, titled A Muerte in Spanish. It follows a couple who don’t seem to work together, but it’s clear that there is something there. Can people change who they are when they meet the right person? Isn’t that the question for all rom-coms right now?
What is Love You to Death about?
The Apple TV+ series follows Raúl and Marta as they meet and fall in love. Joan Amargós plays Raúl, who is diagnosed with cancer. Just afterward, he reconnects with a friend from his past, and so a relationship sparks up.
That friend from the past? It’s free-spirited Marta, played by Verónica Echegui, who turns out to be newly pregnant and single. Raúl knows this and he decides to start up a relationship anyway. The problem is Marta’s free-spirited nature is due to her being a commitment phobe. Can she change that part of her to make a relationship work?
It seems like fate has brought them together. However, their beliefs about love and relationships are put to the test as they go through their series of highs and lows. The two used to be friends as children, but is that enough to make things work?
There isn’t a trailer for Love You to Death out just yet, but take a look at a couple of other stills from the series.
When will Love You to Death come to Apple TV+?
The series arrives on Wednesday, Feb. 5, which is in time for Valentine’s Day. The first two episodes will be available and then the third episode will be out on Feb. 12. Episodes will then air weekly through to Wednesday, March 12.
