Nicole Kidman has a fiery love affair with a younger man in spicy trailer for Babygirl

A24 just dropped the spicy official trailer for its upcoming erotic romantic drama Babygirl, and we definitely have some thoughts after watching it. Check it out right below!

Babygirl was written, helmed, and co-produced by Halina Reijn, the same incredible filmmaker who directed the A24 black comedy horror flick Bodies Bodies Bodies. David Hinojosa and Julia Oh signed on to produce the movie as well.

A24 is known for producing and/or distributing the best content, and in the case of Babygirl, the entertainment company is behind the project as producer and distributor. 2AM and Man Up Films are the other production companies behind this film.

As you can see in the trailer above, the movie stars Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman as a top CEO who enters into a scandalous love affair with a much younger man who happens to be an intern at her company. Kidman portrays the role of Romy, while Harris Dickinson (The Iron Claw, Where the Crawdads Sing) plays the young intern, Samuel. By embarking on a forbidden romance, Romy is not only putting her career on the line but also her family. But she's never felt as free or liberated as she does now, making it hard for her to break things off.

Antonio Banderas (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny), Sophie Wilde (Talk to Me, Everything Now), Gaite Jansen (Peaky Blinders), Victor Slezak (The Independent, The Order), Anoop Desai (What We Do in the Shadows), Leslie Silva (So Help Me Todd), Dolly Wells (The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin), and other talented actors are also in the cast.

Babygirl premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in August 2024 and then at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival in September. On Dec. 25, 2024, the erotic romantic drama will finally hit U.S. theaters. So, don't forget to save the date! There are other movies coming to theaters on Christmas Day, like the horror film Nosferatu, but Babygirl should be at the top of your watchlist. It's definitely at the top of ours!
