Are you ready for another Prime Video rom-com? When you hear that Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell guest star, you most definitely are. You’re Cordially Invited brings a take on Bride Wars, but with warring parents instead of warring brides.

What is You’re Cordially Invited about?
When you watch the trailer, you’ll see single dad Jeff and career woman Margo plan out weddings for people close to them. For Jeff, it’s all about his daughter and her fiancé, and he wants to make sure the wedding is perfect. For Margo, it’s all about her sister and future brother-in-law, and she will do what it takes with her Type A personality.
They both set for June 1 as their wedding date. That’s fine, right? There are plenty of locations around the country—and even the world.
Well, this is where there’s the hilarious problem. There’s a double booking at the venue, bringing Jeff’s and Margo’s families together. Rather than the two of them actually trying to work out the issue, they end up battling it out together to make sure they get the perfect wedding. That means getting the sunset!
The two take competition seriously. For Margo, it’s part of her job, which means that it’s part of her life. Meanwhile, Jeff just wants to be the perfect dad. Jeff is willing to wrestle an alligator for that title!
Will it lead to the two of them hooking up? That’s usually the way these rom-coms turn out, right? They’re both single, so it would make a lot of sense. Will then end up having the wedding of their dreams in the end? How about opening it up to a sequel with a double booking for their wedding?

Amazon has released the trailer for the movie. Yes, Petyon Manning guest stars in the movie. Will he help to bring some sense of order to the weddings? Probably not! After all, Margo says that he can wait.
