The Merry Gentlemen is a holiday rom-com helmed by Peter Sullivan from a screenplay written by Marla Sokoloff. In addition, Sullivan produced the film alongside Jeffrey Schenck, Barry Barnholtz, and Brian Nolan.
The plot revolves around Ashley, a former professional dancer who decides to stage an all-male Christmas revue to save her parents once-popular performing venue. Britt Robertson stars in the leading role of Ashley. You might've watched her in TV shows such as Life Unexpected, The Secret Circle, Under the Dome, Casual, Girlboss, For the People, Big Sky, The Rookie: Feds and The Rookie.
Starring opposite Robertson is Chad Michael Murray as Luke, a contractor who helps Ashley's parents out at their performing venue. He decides to participate in Ashley's all-male dance troupe. Murray is best known for starring as Lucas Scott in the popular teen drama series One Tree Hill. He also had roles in movies such as A Cinderella Story, Freaky Friday, Fruitvale Station and Mother of the Bride.
Sokoloff, Beth Broderick, Michael Gross, Maxwell Caulfield, Hector David Jr., Colt Prattes, and Marc Anthony Samuel make up the rest of the cast.
