Williams-Stirling is best known for starring as Jackson Marchetti in the hit Netflix teen series Sex Education. He also had roles in other TV series like Wolfblood, Roots and Will. Shahidi is known for starring as Zoey Johnson in the ABC comedy sitcom Black-ish and its spinoff series Grown-ish. Bloom follows a young and talented Black artist named Ace, who moves to Tuscany, Italy after getting a scholarship to attend a university. While there, he finds himself entangled in the world of "The Casa Rosa Kids," a rebellious group of wealthy young Black adults. He also finds himself forming unexpected friendships and sparking a passionate romance.
According to Deadline, Williams-Stirling will take on the lead role of Ace if he is officially cast in the film. It's unknown who the others would be playing, though.
