Now, there's no way you don't know who Renée Elise Goldsberry is. She's a Tony and Grammy Award winner known for originating the role of Angelica Schuyler in the Broadway production of the musicalHamilton. You might've also watched her recently in the musical comedy seriesGirls5eva.
Pineloft Entertainment is developingBloomand will be producing it alongside Jolene Rodriguez of Broken English Productions. Additionally, 1PLUS1 Productions and Adam Strawford have joined as music consultants.
Bloomfollows a young and talented Black artist named Ace, who moves to Tuscany, Italy after getting a scholarship to attend a university. While there, he finds himself entangled in the world of "The Casa Rosa Kids," a rebellious group of wealthy young Black adults. He also finds himself forming unexpected friendships and sparking a passionate romance.
