This holiday rom-com is one of Netflix's most popular movies at the moment

As the holiday season approaches, Netflix has gifted its viewers with a delightful rom-com. We're talking about the licensed television film Fall Into Winter, and it's currently ranked at the No. 7 spot on the streamer's top 10 movie list, making it one of the platform's most popular movies at the moment. It was released on Netflix on Nov. 1.

Fall Into Winter is a charming and heartfelt romance film that first premiered on the Great American Family TV network back in January 2023. It was directed by T.W. Peacocke (Twas the Text Before Christmas, Sullivan's Crossing) from a screenplay written by Cara J. Russell (A Royal Date for Christmas, The Knight Before Christmas).

Full House's Lori Loughlin stars in the leading role of Kerrie, the co-owner of a family-owned candy shop. After Kerrie's brother decides to sell his share in the candy business to his best friend from high school, Brooks, Kerrie is in no way happy about this. She and Brooks didn't get along in high school, and now she finds herself having to work with him. But what will they do when sparks start to fly?

Besides Full House, Loughlin is best known for her reprising her role as Becky in the show's Netflix sequel series Fuller House. She's also known for starring as Abigail Stanton in the Western drama series When Calls the Heart. In addition, she's been in some other holiday romance movies such as Every Christmas Has a Story, Homegrown Christmas and Blessings of Christmas.

James Tupper portrays the role of Brooks in the holiday rom-com. You might recognize him from playing the role of David Clarke in the ABC drama series Revenge. Some of his other acting work includes roles in the TV shows Men in Trees, Mercy, Grey's Anatomy, Big Little Lies and A Million Little Things. Besides Fall Into Winter, he also starred in the holiday rom-com My Christmas Family Tree.
